Fishing For Warriors is a nonprofit organization focused on real change. We do this though connecting Veterans to one another through our love for fishing.
Justin grew up fishing many of North Georgia’s lakes and rivers with his Great Grandfather. After 16 years in the military, 2 tours to Iraq and 2 tours to Afghanistan Justin struggled to find passion for anything. He reverted back to what filled his childhood with joy. Fishing! And now it’s his sole purpose to get as many veterans off the couch and on the water as possible.
JOHN JOHN LANIER
Growing up on the water of Florida helped John John to find his love of fishing. When moving to the upstate of South Carolina John John’s fishing interests expanded to tournament bass fishing. John is a 12 year Army Veteran where he served one tour in Iraq and two in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division and Georgia National Guard. Fishing for Warriors gives John John the opportunity to connect with other Veterans and to share struggles and successes all while doing something he loves.
Director of Operations
Andrew Inman is a two-time time Iraq war veteran. He suffers from severe PTSD along with Traumatic Brain Disorder. With these injury's came a willingness to give up on everything, one being his love for fishing. He soon realized that the alcohol and the drug addiction did not replace the ultimate thrill of fishing. With Fishing For Warriors Andrew was able to realize he doesn't have to fish alone, nor struggle alone.
